This commercial/short film from Chipotle and CAA Marketing aired during the 2012 Grammy Awards and just won the prestigious Cannes Grand Prix award in the Branded Content & Films category. This is one of those ads everyone was talking about the next day. With a haunting rendition of Coldplay’s “The Scientist” (sung by Willie Nelson), the ad tells the story of a farmer turning his farm into a sustainable enterprise. Combining the best of corporate responsibility, cause marketing, and a brand image marketing, CAA helped Chipotle hits a high mark here. The ad is gorgeous and really hits on an emotional appeal. It’s pretty awesome.
